Our little town of Shell Beach was hit very badly with wind last night. Fortunately, our home didn't have any damage, just a rose that was knocked down, that Mike promptly planted this morning. However, the noise was so loud, that I think I have about 3 hours of sleep running through my body! Trash cans knocking, trees whistling, and I posted a few pictures of the damage some of our neighbors have...
This house is directly across the street. The carport caved in on their car (which was inoperable anyways) and we saw a few people out there trying to figure out how to resolve the matter... my solution? Bulldozer...
These are our next door neighbors... all of her plants fell down, and in the front of her house, a few of them broke... I think this was the noise that kept me up last night!

Crazy!! I was talking to Mel last night about 1130 and she had stuff blowing over too, she said it was crazy!!
Truely you have no idea what crazy is untill you have been through the same storm when it hits Oregon, specifically Tillamook! The place I work at was entirely surrounded by water, typically it is surrounded by open grassy fields. It took us 3 days of scrubbing the floors to clean up the mud and gunk left behind. At home I lost siding and a tree just missed my car! Total excitement was going out in the storm to fix the fence that had blown down!
